Robert Pattinson: At My Local Supermarket.
Last night I met Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen. What? Where? How? I hear you wonder. At my local supermarket. He was reasonably friendly, and well mannered enough, not only to smile back, but to speak to me when I smiled at him.
I’ve never been one to get embarrassingly star struck at the sight of very famous people. But as I’m sure you can understand, as a regular girl, I felt pretty damn special to be speaking to the equivalent of Leonardo Dicaprio around the time Titanic was released over a decade ago.
It was at the check-out that our eyes first met, I was queuing to pay for a box of strawberries and he was rather surprisingly, about to purchase a long grey full length leather coat. Not the kind of thing one would expect to purchase from a supermarket I know, but hey, winter has been crazy this year.
All was going unbelievably well. I was perfectly calm, I managed to not scare him off by displaying ALL my teeth when I smiled, and I was still standing! It was when he smiled at me that I noticed something… something strange. Mr. Pattinson was the owner of a set of what I can best describe as extremely bad teeth! This didn’t make any sense! We’re talking about THE Robert Pattinson here. There must be some kind of explanation, I thought. Perhaps it’s a practical joke, yes. Some kind of social experiment he had undertaken. Or maybe he’s still in costume for his latest film and just rushed out to buy the coat forgetting that he was still, partly in character.
By the time we’d both finished paying for our goods and stepped outside the store, I noticed a large group of teenage girls and a couple of teenage boys racing towards us. Before I could utter anything else, my dear Robert had said a hasty goodbye and dashed in the opposite direction.
Only the good Lord knows what would have happened next had the teenagers never appeared. It would have all been even more amazing had all the above happened while I wasn’t, well… fast asleep. LIFE CAN BE SO CRUEL!

OMC! okay thats amazing….but what you said about the teeth, He did say during one of his interviews that he naturally had bad teeth and that before the twilight shooting they offered him free invisaline. but he refused. He said that he had more on his mind then to be dealing with straightening his teeth.

The only thing is, there are ‘bad teeth’ and there are ‘extremely bad teeth.’ 
The set I got to witness most certainly belonged in the latter group. This is why I found it hard to believe that they were real. We’re talking about the kind that are misshapen and seriously discoloured.

That is a really awesome story. I met some of the cast and I was in the “zone” when talking to them but totally lost my shit when I walked out of the room and de-evolved into a 12 year old. =)
Curious though, what kind of store were you in that you could purchase strawberries and a long leather coat?
That’s gotta be the most eclectic store in the UK (UK right?). What’s their slogan? “Get your food, clothes, automotive, furniture, and animal feed in one convenient spot! Shop All-Mart!”

Thank you Sharon, A big well done to you for managing to hold it together whilst in the ‘zone.’ Not an easy thing at all.
– Oh, and the Tesco slogan is ‘Every Little Helps,’ which works just perfectly I think.
And you are right, it did all happen in the UK, a place where Superstores such as ‘Tesco Extra’ (not that this is where my Robert Pattinson encounter happened) you can buy just about anything – including a long grey leather coat!
I wouldn’t say you’re ‘lame’ at all, just imaginative – which I think is always a good thing!

We in Sweden will never get a chance to meet him or Kisten. Famous artists are quite often here, but it is rarely actors do, and it sucks. Who would not want to take a bite out of Pattinson?

Just as well it was a dream, cause his teeth are not bad, they are just real. Why is it that as soon as you hit stardum your expected to follow the crowd and have perfect teeth. His teeth are one of the things that makes him who he is.

Well I think that rob is a person like all of us and he can have defects as you and me…. He’s totally handsome, lovely, beautiful and all good things buy he is human, he is a man… I’m from nicaragua (centroamérica) and I just can dream meet him…I wish meet him but that wont happen to me…

I met Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner a little while ago; I live in Vancouver where they filmed New Moon and Eclipse. It was phenomenal and I was starstruck, I couldn’t believe it.
I was home sick and I went to my kitchen to grab a snack and I randomly looked out the window and saw all these trucks and people at Whytecliff Park. I saw a particular red truck and I’m like “OH MY GOD!” so I ran downstairs to my brother and I’m like “You gotta take me to Whytecliff, they’re filming New Moon there!” and then he’s all like “You’re delusional; there are lots of red trucks.”
So, after an hour of anxiousness I called my mom. She also thought I was delusional, but because she’s so amazing, called her best friend (who happens to be my best friends mom,) and she pulled my best friend out of school and came to get me. We went out to Whytecliff park, and got to meet Taylor and Kristen. They were so sweet, I’m not really a Kristen fan but she seemed nicer and friendlier than I originally thought, and Taylor… *sigh*. They were filming the scene where Jacob and Bella are in the truck talking about what if Jacob had said no to fixing the bikes, and then they stop to see the boys cliff diving. Whytecliff Park baby! Lol.
It was awesome; I got to roam around the set with my friends, even saw Taylor’s trailer… we were so tempted to knock on the door.. hehe.
When I got home I could still see the filming process; I swear to God Kristen almost drove off the cliff… that girl needs driving lessons
I could hear them yelling “WATCH IT!” I was laughing so hard with my friend hehe.
Sorry- this is incredibly long… just thought I’d share my experience haha.

One of my co-workers had “hillbilly teeth” a joke item you can purchase on-line. Had a whole conversation with me and I didn’t make any comment at all. Drove him insane…
My guess is that is what you saw…like going out with dark sunglasses….

LOL bad teeth! xD Well, he’s a celeb but still a human been so… hehe! Btw, you’re not the first person I hear or read to say that, lot of fans have written that he has some “personal hygiene issues” and that’s why he looks quite a mess when he’s not on a red carpet. I can also say that most of british boys are a mess. I lived in London for 3 years and trust me, those guys are so cute and handsome but most of them had issues to get dress and look nice LOL.

Are you sure it was really him,. everything checks out but the teeth.. Ive met him and was 2 feet from his face and his teeth are fine.. not the straightest across the top row, but the could never have been called ” realy bad” To the poster who said that he said he had bad teeth.. in that interview he said he always thought his teeth were fine so that is why he didnt wear invisalign
