Breaking Dawn Part 2: Better… :-)
OK. I can procrastinate no more. I watched the last instalment of the Twilight Saga – months ago!
To get right to the point, unlike Breaking Dawn Part 1, I actually have very little negative feedback to report about Breaking Dawn Part 2.
The very serious Twilight fans I’ve spoken to absolutely love the final instalment.
Serious fan feedback:
‘The romance and the face-off in the last 40 minutes was great!’
‘That fake baby was very weird. But over all I loved it!’
For me personally, I was very happy to see the head of the Volturi – Aro (Michael Sheen) get more screen time. I still find him incredibly arresting and full of charisma! Besides that, I do agree with the serious fans. The film is very romantic and that CGI baby was strange.
The only other slight issue pertains to some dodgy dialogue when Bella confronts Jacob after learning that he has ‘imprinted’ on Renesmee. Perhaps it’s not really the dialogue but rather, it’s awkward delivery…
Or, it could just be me. I mean, I have been described as pedantic. However, I know myself best and I can confirm without any doubt that I’m simply misunderstood.
I probably won’t miss the Twilight Saga now that it’s over. But in case I’m wrong, that’s what DVDs are for. What did you think of Breaking Dawn Part 2?
